Caroline grew up in the Orkney Isles, studied History of art at Aberdeen University, and then in need of some fresh air spent seven years doing archaeological and conservation fieldwork on mainland Scotland, Shetland and the Hebrides before returning to Orkney and beginning to paint in 1994. Since then she has exhibited extensively throughout Scotland, and in london and is a prize-winner and regular exhibitor at the RGI.
